Our Team
Audra Parker - President/CEO Audra has been with the Alliance since early 2003. She has 20 years of experience in strategy and business management, has consulted to a wide range of industries, and is active in local community affairs. She holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University. She lives in Osterville with her four children.
Kate Dineen - Assistant Director Kate grew up sailing and swimming in the waters of Nantucket Sound. Prior to joining the Alliance, Kate served as an assignment editor at abc40 news in Springfield. As Communications Manager, she handles media relations, and oversees the production of the quarterly newsletter, advertisements, collateral material and web content. Kate also coordinates community outreach at special events throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Williams College. She will be working for us part-time, while studying for her Masters Degree in Environmental Policy and Planning at MIT.
Eric Steinhilber - Development Director Cape Cod native, Eric has a special understanding of what Nantucket Sound means to the Cape and Islands and how industrialization of that precious resource would be a disaster for the region. Eric holds a BA degree in political science from the University of Central Florida and is a certified Realtor. Over the past 15 years, he has volunteered and worked as a political consultant on several local, state and national campaigns. Eric resides in Hyannis with his wife and daughter.
Sandy Taylor - Executive Assistant Sandy is a Cape resident of more than 30 years. She was long associated with Citizens Bank and its predecessor banks over the years in a variety of positions, including branch manager in South Dennis. Before joining the Alliance full-time, Sandy volunteered her time. From a family that goes back nine generations with ship captains on Cape Cod, Sandy grew up in Pennsylvania and has her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of North Carolina.
Patty Dineen - Communications Manager Patty is a Cape resident and Realtor, who has been a longtime volunteer at the Alliance. She holds a Masters Degree in English and has taught at the Jr High, High School and Community College levels. As our newest employee, she will be taking over many of her daughter Kate's duties, who is pursuing her Masters Degree at MIT.
Buffy Pennick - Development Associate Buffy is an ethusiastic wildlife advocate. A long time member of the Cape Cod Bird Club, where she held a variety of positions, she has joined the Alliance to help preserve the natural environment. With a Bachelors Degree in Political Science, she has a rich and diverse background, which includes her work at the Museum of Natural History as the Membership Coordinator. She resides in Harwich with her son Kane.
